In many ways, I’m glad that I don’t have to deal with that kind of thing on a regular basis. It would drive me nuts.

Last year at Housekeeping Camp, wasn’t there was something that looked sort of official – like the precursor to a citation maybe, that DNC employees (maybe just security?) could hand out to guests to help motivate them to store their food properly? I haven’t heard much about it lately. I wonder if it was at all effective and if that program is still going.

Do you know how much the fines are when people get cited? Maybe if they aren’t scared of bears, and aren’t concerned for bears, we could at least make them concerned and afraid of getting fined?

This is something I have to deal with every morning. There are several campers in Curry right now that are blatantly ignoring repeated warnings. I’m hoping the bear patrol cites them tonight.

They’ve got food on top of their locker with towels over it, and folding chairs in front of it.

Not. Gonna. Work.

Food storage? FAIL.
