Sometimes the powder is just too good to let a little thing like employment keep you from enjoying it right now, right away. The weekend was only a day away, but what if it rained or warmed up and the snow got heavy? We decided that the only reasonable thing to do was get up early and get in a quick run before work.
It was in the front passenger seat of the pickup truck, on top of the Harry Potter CDs that haven’t quite made it back to the shelf where they belong. I kept expecting it to show up, but after it had been missing for 6 days I finally resigned myself to replacing the contents. I was on my way, having taken time off from work and everything, to the DMV in Mariposa to get a new drivers license when I peeked in the truck and saw it.

It's been a little more than 6 months since I got hurt, and with the return of the pleasant spring weather, I'd gotten the bug to try climbing again. I finally made it out on Friday, April 4/27/07 to the beginner climbing area called Swan Slab.
My new niece, Malerie Ann Ho, was born April 15th weighing 7lbs and 6 oz. Isn't this a great picture? Tom and I are scheming various ways that we can go visit.
